I often call my creations “reclaimed art” because I work with imagery and materials gathered from “elsewhere” and transform them into art and objects that are entirely new. My overriding goal with every piece is to bring beauty into the world, and I obsess over them, through layer upon layer and iteration after iteration, until the final resonant work emerges, perfect even in its imperfections. —Juliana
